CCIE Wireless Mock Lab and Troubleshooting Class for v3.1
The CCIE Wireless Mock Lab and Troubleshooting Class is a 5-day instructor-led course that is indented to help you build your troubleshooting, diagnostic, and lab skills as well as to help you to gauge your level of lab preparedness. This class is predominantly hands-on with some periods of lecture and lab review. Each student will have access to their own personal rack and will be completing mock labs and troubleshooting labs.
This class covers advanced skills, and is meant to be taken towards the end of your lab preparations. At a minimum, we recommend that you are already familiar with the material covered in Network Dojo’s Workbook Vol 1, and Lab Video Series 1. Ideally, you have also absorbed some or all of the Workbook Vol 2, Workbook Vol 3, and Lab Video Series 2 materials. Scroll down to see more details, such as the class outline and schedule. CCIE Wireless Mock Lab Rack Topology
Mock labs are done on our regular full rack topology, which is very similar to the topology of the actual lab exam. All switches are 3650 IOS-XE switches. There are 4 stand-alone controllers, which include 1- 5760, 2- 5508, and 1- 2504 controllers. All server and client VMs are also included. This allows us to replicate just about any scenario that you would potentially experience in the actual lab.
CCIE Wireless Troubleshooting Rack Topology
The racks used for the troubleshooting labs are separate smaller racks. These are the same racks used in our bootcamp class. By using these racks for the troubleshooting labs, we can keep our full racks available for student rentals for roughly half of the class rather than having to block off 5 full days of student rentals on a regular basis. This allows us to avoid having to essentially double our number of full racks, which keeps the class costs down to a minimum, without significantly impacting what types of troubleshooting scenarios we can employ.
Racks include a pair of 3650 switches for converged access practice, a 5508 and 2504 WLC for AireOS practice, and all of the servers used in the lab.
